Congratulations to our Soundbeam friends I'm Soul Inc from Singapore who have just won the prestigious Asia For Good award! They work in the community with people of all ages and abilities "unlocking the therapeutic power of music" and Soundbeam plays a major role in their work. They received 2,300 votes in this Reader's Choice Award and were also one of the top 12 teams of the DBS-NUS Social Venture Challenge from more than 1,000 across Asia.
We had some lovely visitors over from Holland for training at our Bristol Studios. Marijke and Carola from ArtEZ were so inspiring and really got to grips with Soundbeam. They left full of enthusiasm and with plenty of ideas on how Soundbeam will be applied. They are both lecturers in music therapy as well as teaching in special needs schools. Judy Williams co-founder of Soundbeam (on the right) joined us for a very nice curry lunch.
