Soundbeam 2

What Is Soundbeam?
In just a few years, Soundbeam has been developed from an award-winning concept into uniquely sensitive, versatile and user-friendly system. Across a wide spectrum of ability and mobility, this thrilling way of creating and exploring sound has found a special status as a source of empowerment, motivation and learning - and of fun, fulfilment and joy - all over the world.
Features
Soundbeam 2 offers easy operation with clear, informative, simple screens.
Sensors can be mounted at long distances - 50 metres - from the Controller.
Non-volatile memory holds
- 30 Factory-preset Pitch Sequences of 64 notes or 4-note chords.
- 70 User-definable Pitch Sequences of up to 64 notes or 4-note chords.
- 128 Soundbeam Setups - i.e. 128 complete sets of all settings for 1 - 4 Sensors and 1 - 8 switches.
Information derived from the speed of movements in the beam is now available - in addition to Gate and Distance information - for controlling the various parameters of electronic musical instruments.
Using two sensors simultaneously, movements in one beam can be used to change the MIDI Program, or to process - filter, amplify, pan and so on - sounds generated by movements in a second beam.
An 8-input Switchbox connected to the Controller enables on off, proportionate, joystick and other switches to be connected.
